Monkey Socks (Pack of 2 pairs)

These monkey socks are the Original Rockford Red Heel socks still made in Osage, Iowa here in the USA by Fox River. (Style #6851) Almost no one wears them anymore because they are so popular for making sock monkeys! You need one pair to make a traditional sock monkey so this pack is enough to make two sock monkeys. If you want to make the optional cap, you will need an extra sock.

Most sock monkeys are made with the large sock size but we also carry extra large for those that prefer a slightly bigger monkey. In addition to the socks, you will need polyester fiberfill for stuffing, sewing thread, and two buttons for eyes. It is also popular to use a little black embroidery floss to embellish the face.
